God put us together for a reason

God knows what he is doing when he puts two people together. Just remember he is always in control and has a plan!

Funny potty story

Before I tell the funny but embarassing story, let me update y'all. Tommorow will be the beginning of week 12. The morning sickness is not as often but still hanging around. Logan has been very supportive through it and I am very greatful. My best friend had her sweet little boy on Friday March 20th and that was one of the most amazing things for me to be apart of. Although not in the room with them during the delivery, I stayed near by until allowed to return to the room. To share that with her and her husband was very special for me. His name is Wyatt and he is so adorable. I have some pictures of him but do not have her permission to post them but just trust me, he is super cute.

We added a new family member to our household. We now have a dog named Ralph. Most of you know we already had two dogs, Pepper and Sheriff. Well, Logan brought Ralph home the other day. He is so sweet and very pretty. The kicker is he will grow to be 110 lbs to 140 lbs. This is a lot of dog but I am sure he will be worth it. I will get a picture of him and post it soon.

Okay, for the funny story. When you are pregnant and feel the urge to empty your bladder, you have very little time to do so. So the other day at work, I feel this urge and rush to the restroom. Luckly I made it in time and no one was in there. See, our restroom is a one seater so you have to time things just right around the office. Well, As most women know when using a public restroom, you never sit all the way down. We do this thing called the hoover. So this is what I was doing. (Please try not to picture this in your head) So the hoover always makes my legs hurt. Keep this in mind as I continue through the story. So I finish filling the potty with enough liquid to feel a small pound and I reach for the toilet paper. It tears into small pieces. You know when you get that roll that won't roll. Well, this was the case. So I proceed to try another way and still it tears. This goes on for a little while and everything I try did not work. I just tore more and more paper. At this point I am talking out loud and getting very frustrated. I keep saying things like, "you stupid thing" "darn roll" "just work". I did not think much about talking out loud since I am in there by myself. So I finally get to my breaking point and hit the toilet paper roll with my fist and say some words I should not repeat (I asked God to forgive me). All of a sudden, the TP roll decides to go into the circus and proceeds to do a few impressive flips in the air and rolls down my back into the potty. SPLASH!!!!!!!!!!! Oh great now what. So I have to wait a few minutes before I can dress myself and by now my legs are purple from the hoover. So I finally get presentable and realize I can not flush the toilet. I must fish the TP roll out of the potty. GROSS!!!!!!!!!! So I decide to go out to the closet and get a trash bag and use that as a glove and this should work. Well, remember the talking out loud thing, well when I open up the door, there are two ladies standing out there giggling and laughing. I was so embarrased. So I cleaned the restroom and leave for lunch to try and regain my self confidence. Sometimes God gets our attention in very wierd ways. I shared this most embarassing story in hopes it would give y'all a laugh.

So that is all for now. Our next appointment is April 2. I will try to add some more pictures soon. Love y'all.

Week 10!!!!!!!!!!

Well, today will mark my 10 weeks of pregnancy. I am still waiting for the fun part of being pregnant. Surely there is a fun part, right? Just kidding. I am so blessed to be going through this. Well, that is what I try to tell myself when I pick my head up out of the toilet. Some days are wonderful. I feel great, I am able to eat and get lots of things done. But others I feel like all I can do is vomit and sleep. However, my wonderful Dr., Dr. George told me that was the sign of a healthy prenancy. So that provides some comfort. Logan has been absolutely wonderful. When I am feeling bad, he will cook dinner and wash the dishes and do anything I need. He is so great to me. I even got a great back rub the other night just because. What a great guy. He is really being very understanding with all this and I know that is hard but I am so thankful for him.

We have our next appointment on April 2nd. Then on the following appointment, if I am far enough along, we will be able to find out if we are having a boy or girl. This is something we really want to know so we can start planning and buying things. Plus, I know of two grandmothers who are very anxious to start their shopping.

Okay, I guess that is it for now. God is doing great things with Logan and I and we hope the same for you and your family. Talk to ya next week. Love y'all!!!!!!!!

Just some other things

These are some pictures of Logan roping out at the house with the neighbors. These are just for fun. He has been having so much fun roping with these guys. Paul Bruce is also about to be a daddy so it has been fun to spend time with a group of friends who are going through similar things as us. Just wanted to give y'all some pictures to enjoy.

A Day to Remember

On Monday March 2nd, Logan and I had our first big Doctor's visit. It was one of the best days of our life. We went back to our room and waited it seemed like forever. When the docotor came in, he went over a few things and then he took us back to the ultrasound room. We got to see our beautiful baby. It was so hard to not cry. Then he turned on the sound and there it was. The most beautiful sound we have ever heard, the heartbeat. Our baby is alive and doing well. We will never forget the feelings we felt that day. I am 8 weeks and 5 days and due on October 9th so mark your calanders. We love you all.
