God put us together for a reason

God knows what he is doing when he puts two people together. Just remember he is always in control and has a plan!

Let the good times Rumble

This weekend, Logan, me and the baby went to the Commander family reunion (my mom's side) in Ruidoso NM. We had so much fun. I saw some family that I had not seen in many years. It was so great to see everyone. It was also fun to share time and stories with each other. This was the baby's first reunion and I think she enjoyed it. She was really active. On Saturday afternoon, we all got together and had a barbque at the condo. There were 26 of us and we had so much fun and great food. We then proceeded outside for a family photo. okay, I will take the blame for this. I suggested we take a grouop picture because it was the first time we had all been together in awhile and you never know when we will be back together again. I assumed when suggesting this that it would be one big picture and then we would go back inside. Well, I was way wrong. this turned into a complete photo session. Now, you are probably thinking, "Whats wrong with that?" Well, I am about to tell you. Okay, prepare yourself.

We had all just ate a huge babrbque meal. Our tummies were full. Several of the men in my family are not ashamed to release pressure after a big meal no matter who is around. However, they can not do this with out making it a large production. So with your imagination, you can figure out how the photo session was. Oh my sweet baby girl has now been exposed to the lovely sounds of the Commander family. I just hope she does not fall for the "pull my finger" trick with any of my uncles or cousins. But in all seriousness, we got some great photos and had a lot of laughs in the process.

After the big pictures were done, my cousin started taking some pictures of Logan and I. She did a great job and I am thankful that I have some pictures of us to show what we looked like during the pregnancy. I hope you enjoy these pictures and have enjoyed a laugh with me and my family.

As for the baby update: I am 23 weeks along and things are going well. The baby moves a lot and you can even see it now. Logan and I are getting excited and nervous all at the same time. I have been talking to her in the evenings when no one is around. It seems silly but I want her to know my voice and know how much I love her. Logan talks to her all the time too. He is so funny with her. He bumped into me the other day and he turned around and told her he was sorry. It was so sweet. He is going to be the best dad and I can't imagine sharing this with anyone else. I have been feeling really well. I do experience some heart burn, back aches, leg cramps and I get tired pretty easy but that is all normal. For the most part I feel great.

According to the pregnancy calender, today the baby has developed the startle and hand grip reflex. I think that is so cute. Hope all is well in your family. Love you all from the Lair's

BOY OR GIRL?...That is the question

Yesterday was our doctor's appointment. My mom and dad were there, my best friend Kari was there and of course me and Logan. We were having an ultrsound done and were going to find out the sex of the baby. I had been so anxious and nervous all day. I was afraid my blood pressure would be out of control but it was not bad. Anyways, we were called back and the nurse did the normal checks and then we waited in the room for about 15 minutes before going to the ultrasound room. So finally she came and got us and we went in and got prepared. Then my family joined us. We got to see the baby's sweet little face, the ambilical cord, the stomach, kidneys, arms, fingers, legs and then the big moment happened. The baby was in a perfect position to get a peek. And the answer to the question is ........................GIRL!!!!!!! We are having a girl. We are so excited. We have picked a name and started to think about what colors the room and all the baby stuff will be. He is one proud daddy. So now the shopping and preparing begins!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( have fun and go crazy Mama and Susie with your shopping now)

Here is the baby's 3-D Picture

This is the baby's best video so far.
