God put us together for a reason

God knows what he is doing when he puts two people together. Just remember he is always in control and has a plan!

Relaxation

This past weekend, Logan and I went to San Antonio for my cousins wedding. We had a great time. The highlight of our weekend (besides the wedding) was relaxing in our hotel room. This is something we haven't done in a very long time. We always have so many things to do or catch up on when we are at home that we rarely just sit around and rest. It was so nice and we both really needed it. It was also really great to see both our families. We spent Saturday with my parents and celebrated mother's day with my mom. It was so much fun. We went to lunch and then to the Alamo. My mom loves going there so that is what we did. Then on Sunday we spent most of the day with all of Logan's family before heading home. It was nice to see everyone and enjoy mother's day with both mom's

Well, we are in the last part of the fourth month of Pregnancy. I will be 19 weeks on Friday. I can't believe that in just one month I will be in my third trimester. Where did the time go. It is a little scary thinking about it but also very exciting. It has just gone so fast.

Things are still going well. The baby moves alot and loves to play at about 10:00 pm every night. We are going to have to work on that schedule. Logan likes to try and feel the baby moving. He has been able to a few times and it is very exciting for him. He has said that it still has not sunk in completely because he is not experiencing what I am. But when he is able to feel the baby, it becomes more real to him. I love seeing him excited about the baby. He is going to make such a great dad.

Well, that is it for now. We love you all and hopefully the next post will be titled "Its a boy" or "Its a Girl". We will find out June 2nd.

Working cows and doing gymnastics

This weekend I got the great joy of going with Logan to work cows for our friend Dossie. I had wanted to go with him for awhile now but usually had something going on or there would only be men there and Logan figured I wouldn't enjoy that. Well, this weekend there were a few women. Becky, Dossie's wife, another gentleman's wife and me. Kari came out with Wyatt also. So I went and had a blast. I really wanted to do more work out there than observing but I was not allowed but I still had fun and got some great pictures.

My job this weekend was to ride in the pick up with Becky and Collete sounding the siren to call the cows out that were near the road and have them follow the truck up to the working pens. I wanted to be on a horse and out in the middle of the pasture pushing cows with everyone else but for whatever reason, everyone thinks I have some kind of limitations. So although confined to the truck, I still had a blast. I guess all the bounsing around on the rough roads got the baby all excited. For about 2 hours, she/he was doing gymnastic moves (must be preparing for the olympics). It is such a great feeling to feel them kicking and moving around. It always makes me laugh. I guess because it makes me happy to know he/she is in there playing and moving. When we got back to the house that evening to eat, the baby was pretty still. I am sure he/she was exhausted from a long day. So I figured that he/she was settled down for the night. (this thought in my head almost made me tear up because I pictured me and Logan covering up our beautiful baby with a soft baby blanket in their crib and kissing him/her goodnight. Oh I can't wait) Anyways... Logan and I got back to our house, very tired, and laid down to go to sleep. (there were still more cows to gather and work the next day). Low and behold, the baby decides it is time to play again. Well apparently the best place to play in there is at my belly button or on my bladder. So needless to say it was hard to sleep. But I was still glad to feel him/her.

Here are some pictures from the weekend. Hope you enjoy and have a great week.

Sorry but you must ignore the date on the pictures. I have screwed up my camara and do not know how to reset the date but these pictures really were taken this weekend.

And as of today I am 17 weeks and 4 days which translates to 4 months.

Itchy Irritations

Well, if you have ever been pregnant or know anyone ho has been, you may also be aware of the fact that you have sensitive skin during this time and tend to be itchy a lot. Well, I had been told this so when my upper body became very itchy last weekend, I assumed it was because of sensitive skin. So mostly i just kept lotion on and tried not to scratch too much. So I woke up on Friday morning very excited to be going to Ruidoso NM to see my family. I was extremely itchy and began to scratch. The scratching only lead to more scratching and before I knew it, I had developed a rash from my neck to my belly and down my arms. AHHHHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (for those who know me well, you know I freaked and thought something was really wrong) So I called the nurse and panically told her my situation and she told me to not worry, it was probablly a food allergy. So she advised me to get Benedryl and anti-itch cream and see how the weekend went. Well, of course, it cleared up and I feel much better. I think panic for nothing should be my middle name.

So, I had my monthly doctor visit on Wednesday and everything was going well. The doctor listened to the heart beat and it was strong like always and things are all in the normal range. Next month will be a big one for us because we will find out the sex of the baby. Can't wait for that.

The baby has been moving a lot and it always makes me laugh and fill with joy.

I have no pictures to share this time but will get some for next time. Hope you and your families are doing great and enjoying life. Love y'all!!!!!!!!
